Barter and Trade is the result of a hand-shake deal between Field Recordings’ winemaker, Andrew Jones, and a group of Washington State grape growers. The fruit is 100% Columbia Valley, Washington State-grown, picked, and eventually trucked down to Paso Robles where Andrew cellars and bottles the wines. The cultivated fruit for these wines are grown and handled with care, while retaining great balance through the efforts of Andrew and his collaborators. The Sauvignon Blanc is treated as a steely wine with subtle fruit flavors and focused acidity, while the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot provide an exquisite range of lush flavors and spiced aromas.
